CyberLink YouCam

YouCam by CyberLink is a fun little application for use with your webcam. It is comparable to a lot of the programs which sometimes come installed with your PC off-the-shelf, but includes additional effects which may be shared with friends and family in conjunction with applications such as Windows Live Messenger, AOL, YIM and Skype.

CyberLink YouCam includes lots of different effects which can be found under different tabs like greenscreen backgrounds, funny effects like hats and eyepatches, adding yourself to comics and even adding beards and moustaches to your face. In addition to these cool effects, there is also a freehand drawing tool included to create your own effects. YouCam can also turn your face into a comic which mimics your own facial expressions and movements. Fun!

With the latest updates of CyberLink YouCam, there have even been improvements made to the way images are sent, giving users access to 3D virtual words around them with full support for HD quality video throughput.

With all of this, CyberLink goes one step further and integrates a surveillance system into this application, making it a great video capture software which can record an area after it detects movement

After installing this program and registering it, CyberLink YouCam offers you additional downloads from their web site to add even more to what the program does. One unfortunate side effect of this funny application is its heavy use of most system resources, meaning you might need to have a PC which is capable of handling it!
